PZ Series DC Gearmotors

General Specifications:
These gearmotors are designed for continuous duty service over a 60:1 speed range. All have constant torque operation throughout this speed range when powered by a full-wave unfiltered SCR-type adjustable speed control having a typical form factor of 1.3 to 4. Low voltage gearmotors are designed for battery power or can be used with a low voltage controller with form factor up to 1.05.
 
Mechanical Specifications:
  • Output shafts utilize needle bearings for high load capacities
  • Shafts are hardened Steel
  • Lubrication by semi-fluid grease
  • First stage gear is helical type followed by-spur type gears
Mechanical Specifications:
These gearmotors are designed for mounting at any angle, but shaft up with motor below should be avoided to prevent leakage of lubricant into the motor should the motor’s shaft seal fail. Gear-head damage may occur if gearmotor is stalled, especially in the ratios of 60:1 or higher. Overhung load capacities shown are at center of output shaft. Model PZ gearmotors have the same mounting dimensions as Bodine model D and Z gearmotors, Bison 100 gearmotors, and Baldor/Boehm PSS, plus many of the Dayton brand gearmotors.

P300 Series DC Gearmotors

PE350 Series DC Gearmotors

General Specifications:
These gearmotors are designed for continuous duty service over a 60:1 speed range. Low voltage gearmotors are designed for battery power or can be used with a low voltage controller with form factor up to 1.05.

  • Oversized output bearings for greater overhung load capacity
  • Shafts are of high-carbon Steel
  • Gears are splash lubricated with permanent heavy duty gear oil
  • Rugged aluminum die cast housings used
  • Precision machined gearing is hardened
Application Notes:
Sub-fractional AC Gearmotors that are totally enclosed for continuous duty, general-purpose applications. These gearmotors are designed for mounting at any angle, but shaft-up with motor below gearhead is not recommended. Gears and bearings are splash lubricated with permanent, heavy-duty gear oil. All gearing is designed and rated to AGMA Class 9 standards to withstand momentary shock overload of 200%. Model PE350 gearmotors have the same mounting dimensions as Bodine’s “E” box and Baldor gearmotors.

P1100 Series DC Gearmotors
General Specifications:
Our line of P1100, DC Gearmotors utilize Fractional horsepower, permanent magnet, DC motors. They are totally enclosed designs for continuous duty, general purpose applications, rated for 90 Volts DC input, having a form factor of 1.3 to 1.4. Low voltage P1100 gearmotors are rated for 12 Volts DC input, with form factor up to 1.05.
 
Mechanical Specifications:

Low voltage OS300 gearmotors are rated for 12 Volts DC input, with form factor up to 1.05.

Right-Angle Series DC Gearmotors
General Specifications:
Our line of Right-Angle, DC Gearmotors utilize Fractional horsepower, permanent magnet, DC motors. They are totally enclosed designs for continuous duty, general purpose applications, rated for 90 & 180 Volts DC input, having a form factor of 1.3 to 1.4. Low voltage OS300 gearmotors are rated for 12 Volts DC input, with form factor up to 1.05.
 
Mechanical Specifications:
  • Lubrication by permanent oil bath
  • Output shaft is interchangeable for left hand or right hand style
  • Shafts are hardened Steel
  • Worm-type right-angle gearing features hardened steel and bronze worm gears for long life and quiet operation
 
Mechanical Specifications:
For optimum seal life, these right angle gearmotors have a lubrication breather positioned for horizontal mounting. For other mountings, the breather plug must be reoriented by u sing a 90-1/8 NPT taper pipe elbow. However, shaft up with motor below should be avoided to prevent leakage of lubricant into the motor should the motor’s shaft seal fail.

Low voltage, Series 12, Right-Angle gearmotors are rated for 12 Volts DC input, with form factor up to 1.05.

  • High temperature Nitrile seals used
